Chase Degraffenried, Men's Basketball - Green River

Degraffenried had a strong week for Green River in leading them to two victories in the West Region to maintain their first-place position. In a 92-68 win at Highline, Degraffenried dropped 38 points with eight rebounds, four steals and two assists. He knocked down seven three pointers in the game, shooting 14-for-24 for the game. Then against defending champions Lower Columbia, the sophomore helped the Gators win 86-79 with 12 points, seven boards and three assists. 

"Chase made winning plays on both ends with his rebounding and defense," said head coach Godfrey Drake. "His impact against quality opponents is exactly what you look for in an NWAC Athlete of the Week."
