Pena helped lead Klamath to its first-ever NWAC victory and first in region play in their inaugural season as they defeated Southwestern Oregon 2-1. Pena was instrumental as he had four saves with his only goal allowed coming on a penalty kick in the first half. After KCC went down 1-0, Pena stabilized the defense as the Badgers scored two unanswered goals to take the victory.
