Austin Collins, Men's Soccer Offensive - Peninsula

Collins had a huge week offensively for the Pirates, scoring five goals with three assists. He started his week with a goal in a 7-0 win over Skagit Valley. He then followed up with an explosive performance of four goals and three assists in a 12-0 win against Edmonds. He had 15 total shots and 12 shots on goal between the two games.

"Austin showed how far he's come athletically from his freshman year," said athletic director Rick Ross. "The best thing I saw from him though was on Saturday, when a teammate took a shot late in the match that got through the keeper, and Austin could have finished the shot, but instead used his body to block out a defender who was trying to get to the slow rolling ball, resulting in his teammate's first-ever college goal. Great kid, great teammate, great week!"
