Rory Hayes, Men's Soccer Offensive - Skagit Valley

Hayes had a pair of standout games for Skagit Valley to keep them in playoff position in the North Region. The sophomore had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win over Edmonds, followed by a goal and assist in a 3-1 victory over Bellevue, including the game-winning goal.

"Rory Hayes, the Lanzarote wing wizard, has been unplayable this past week gliding past defenders like a man who knows the cheat codes," said head coach Richard Henderson. "What's impressed most is his consistency and maturity. Even when double-teamed, his decision-making in the final third has been elite: knowing when to release, when to run, and when to drive the tempo higher. For two straight games, he's been the spark, the supply, and the finisher. Simply put: Rory Hayes has been the difference-maker."
