Siulose Jones, Women's Soccer Offensive - Umpqua

Jones helped Umpqua continue its climb up the South Region standings with their third and fourth straight wins, defeating Lane 1-0 and SW oregon 2-0. The freshman had an assist on the lone goal against Lane, following up with a goal and an assist against SWOCC. Her goal against SWOCC in the 32nd minute was the game-winner as she contribued on all three UCC goals for the week. She leads the NWAC with seven assists this season.

"Siu has been a constant threat for all of our opponents," said head coach Annika Arroyo. "She utilizes her speed to stretch the back lines and then dishing off beautiful lay off passes to our midfielders crashing into the box. She has had a part in every goal in our last 4 games."
