2025 Baseball All-NWAC Selections Announced
VANCOUVER, Wash. - The 2025 All-NWAC Baseball team has been announced as selected by the NWAC baseball coaches.
The 2025 All-NWAC Baseball selections include a First Team, Second Team, Gold Glove, Baden Player of the Year, Position Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year. The Coach of the Year award will be selected after the tournament concludes.
Bellevue starting pitcher Terry Hayes was selected the Baden Player of the Year and NWAC Pitcher of the Year after posting a NWAC-best 0.89 earned run average in 13 starts prior to the tournament. Over 61 innings, Hayes allowed just six earned runs on 33 hits. He struck out 79 batters with 21 walks, posting a 6-2 record for the Bulldogs.
Tacoma slugging first baseman Logan Shepherd was voted the Position Player of the Year. Heading into the tournament, Shepherd had the highest slugging percentage in the NWAC by a considerable margin at .660. He has 26 extra base hits including six home runs, 17 doubles and three triples. He is hitting .387 with 39 runs batted in and 42 runs scored. He was also patient at the plate with 29 walks to 27 strikeouts.
Linn-Benton's Andy Peterson and James Marshall were selected co-Coaches of the Year after leading the Roadrunners to the 2025 tournament title for the second year in a row and three out of the past four years. Marshall was the acting head coach during the tournament.
