2025 NWAC Soccer Championships Final Four Begins on Friday at Starfire Stadium

The 2025 NWAC Men's & Women's Soccer Championships Final Four begins on Friday at Starfire Sports Stadium in Tukwila, Washington.

Men's Championship
The men's semifinal matches start the day on Friday as Tacoma takes on Columbia Basin at 11 a.m. Both the Titans and Hawks went on the road in the quarterfinals, earning upset wins over No. 1 seeds Rogue and Peninsula. Tacoma defeated South Region Champions Rogue in double overtime while CBC knocked out the two-time defending champions Peninsula, using a second half goal to win 1-0.

On the other side of the bracket features two region champions, who were able to win home games in the semifinals. Highline is the lone unbeaten team left in the NWAC with a 15-0-3 record as they enjoyed a dominant 5-0 victory over Lane in the quarterfinals. East Region champions Spokane defeated Whatcom 3-1 at home. Their only loss came to co-champions CBC in the second matchup between the two rivals.

The men's bracket features the No. 1 and 2 seeds from each of the East and West regions. With Peninsula's defeat, a new champion will be crowned this year. Columbia Basin won the last title of the four in 2022, while Highline raised the trophy in 2021. Tacoma's last championship came in 2018 while Spokane looks to win its first title since 1996. The men's soccer All-Star game will be played on Sunday at 9 a.m. with the championship game at 1:30 p.m.

Women's Championship
The women's semifinal matches will be played on Friday following the completion of the men's semifinals. Highline takes on Peninsula in the first women's semifinal match at 4 p.m. The Thunderbirds were the lone No. 2 seed to win in the quarterfinals as they went down to Chemeketa and defeated the Storm 2-1. They will take on defending champions Peninsula who took down Columbia Basin 2-0. The Pirates are the only undefeated team in the NWAC this season with a 12-0-1 record, with their only goal and tie of the season coming in the opener against Skagit Valley. Since then, they have rolled off 12-straight wins in which they outscored opponents 78-0. They are looking for their NWAC leading seventh title in women's soccer.

Tacoma will take on Spokane in the final match on Friday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Titans are back in the final four this season with an impressive 16-1-3 overall record while going 12-0-2 in the competitive West Region. Tacoma enjoyed a dominant 6-0 victory in the quarterfinals over Umpqua last week. They take on Spokane who is no stranger to the NWAC Final Four, making their fourth-straight appearance with a championship in 2022 and a runner-up finish in 2023. The Sasquatch look as strong as ever with an 11-1-1 overall record. They defeated Whatcom 3-1 in the quarterfinals.

Peninsula looks for their seventh program title, while Spokane and Tacoma each search for their fourth. The Titans last won the title in 1998, however, after winning three in a row. Highline has won two titles in its history, with the last coming in 2019 when they won two of three titles.
