PCC's Graham McFall Moves Onto Portland State as Assistant Coach
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Community College head women's basketball coach Graham McFall has accepted a full-time assistant coaching position at Portland State University.
In three seasons in charge of the Panther women, the program has been transformed inside and out. Taking over a team that went 1-21 in 2020, McFall coached the team to two playoff appearances and a program record 21 wins in 2023-24.
"We are super excited for Graham as he embarks on this new adventure," said PCC Athletic Director Tony Broadous. "He has been nothing short of amazing as our head women's coach since he was hired in 2021. In his brief time he set school records for wins in a season, advanced further in the playoffs than any of our previous teams, and had incredible success in finding four year colleges for our student athletes to continue their athletic and academic careers. To say we will miss him is an understatement. However we are confident that the remarkable transformation of our women's basketball program will continue with the hiring of a new coach."
A search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
