Head Women's Soccer Coach Job Summary

Shoreline seeks coaches who can adapt to a variety of coaching situations and who can work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding. The Women's Head Soccer Coach reports to the Athletic Director. The coach supervises the soccer program carried out under the auspices of the Student Learning, Equity & Success division. The soccer season begins August 1st and ends mid-November. Team recruitment continues throughout the year.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Teach soccer skills to student-athletes
- Develop and enforce training rules
- Recruit within the rules and regulations of the conference
- Assist in transportation of teams
- Assist with schedule development
- Assist with soccer uniforms and equipment management
- Monitor academic achievements and student hall of student-athletes
- Market and promote the soccer program, including fundraising
- Prepare and process all related paperwork
- Promote an environment supportive of the College's vision, mission, and values
- Perform other duties assigned of a similar nature or level

The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach reports to the Head Women's Soccer Coach. - As directed by Head Coach, assist in teaching soccer skills to student-athletes
- Assist Head Coach with developing and enforcing training rules
- Recruit, as required by Head Coach, within the rules and regulations of the conference
- Transport teams to various locations as required
- Assist with schedule development
- Assist with soccer equipment management
- Prepare and process all related paperwork as requested by Head Coach
- Promote an environment supportive of the College's vision, mission, and values
- Perform other duties assigned of a similar nature or level
