Green River College Welcomes Cody Burton as Head Volleyball Coach

AUBURN, Wash. - Green River College is excited to announce Cody Burton as the new Head Volleyball Coach. A proven program builder with a strong record of success, Coach Burton brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Gator Athletics.

Originally from Tennessee, Coach Burton transformed the volleyball program at Todd Beamer High School, taking the team from winless to city champions and earning back-to-back playoff appearances within three years. His efforts earned him the 3A Coach of the Year honors. Additionally, he has coached with prestigious clubs such as Emerald Rain and NPJ, leading teams to medal finishes in regional and national tournaments, and has coaching experience that aligns with Green River's mission of athletic excellence.

Coach Burton's vision for the program is to create an environment where athletes can excel athletically, academically, and socially, preparing them for continued success at the next level. His focus on player development, competitive culture, and holistic growth ensures a bright future for Green River Volleyball.
